Today, the Dharma Bum Temple Garden Club came together for another beautiful morning of community, connection, and mindful service. With a wonderful turnout and growing participation, it was inspiring to see so many people gathering with a shared intention to care for both the temple grounds and one another.
Under the guidance of dedicated and compassionate leadership, volunteers spent the day planting flowers, tending garden beds, and bringing new life and color to our shared space. Each flower planted was more than an act of gardening, it was an expression of love, generosity, and care for the entire community.

The Garden Club continues to be a beautiful opportunity to cultivate mindfulness and awareness through hands-on practice. As we work with the soil, we are reminded of the importance of patience, presence, and nurturing the conditions that allow growth to flourish. In many ways, the seeds we plant in the garden reflect the seeds we plant within ourselves: kindness, compassion, connection, and service.
What makes these gatherings so special is the sense of community they create. People from all walks of life come together, forming friendships, sharing stories, and contributing to something larger than themselves. The garden becomes a living symbol of our collective effort and our commitment to creating a welcoming and beautiful environment for everyone who visits the temple.
Thank you to everyone who participated today and helped make the Garden Club another meaningful success. Together, we are planting more than flowers, we are planting seeds of mindfulness, connection, and love that continue to grow throughout our community.

The Garden Club meets every Saturday at 10:00 AM and is open to everyone, regardless of gardening experience. Whether you'd like to help plant flowers, care for the temple grounds, or simply enjoy time in community, we invite you to join us. The gathering takes place just before our 11:00 AM meditation and intro to Buddhism class, making it a wonderful opportunity to begin the day with mindful service, connection, and practice. We look forward to growing together.
