On Friday, April 3rd, our CEO & Co-Founder Jeffrey Zlotnik had the honor of serving as a guest speaker at the Seaside Center for Spiritual Living on behalf of the Dharma Bum Temple.
The evening unfolded as a heartfelt and inspiring gathering rooted in mindfulness, connection, and the possibility of inner peace. Jeffrey guided the community through a deeply grounding meditation, gently inviting each person to return to the present moment to breathe, to feel, and to simply be.

Following the meditation, he shared reflections on how to live a more peaceful and intentional life, offering practical wisdom drawn from Buddhist teachings and lived experience. Through personal stories from his time in the monastery, Jeffrey brought these teachings to life in a way that deeply resonated with those in attendance, leaving a lasting and profound impact on many in the room.
The evening continued with an open and engaging Q&A, where thoughtful questions were met with honesty, compassion, and clarity. What emerged was more than a talk, it was a shared experience of connection, insight, and genuine presence.
Special thanks to Terah Short for helping bring this beautiful evening together, and to Rev. Christian Sorensen for the warm and gracious welcome. The spirit of kindness and openness within the community made the night truly unforgettable.
Moments like these remind us that peace is not something distant or unattainable, it is something we can return to, again and again, in each breath and each step. As Jeffrey shared during the evening:
“Peace isn’t something we find outside of ourselves, it’s something we practice, moment by moment, until it becomes the way we live.”
